obi-wan
Wallhacks - here's your demo. I'm not spectating him, but please just fucking ban him - have him dead to rights on this one. Multiple killcams showing clear obvious tracing and one IRREFUTABLE trace shot behind a wall. You want to talk details? Look at how unrealistically quick his reflexes are when he's camping, I don't even show myself and he immediately shoots when I am in view in all of the killcams where he is camping and I pass through the opening he's (conveniently) aiming at. I'm talking inhuman reaction - the likes you can only have if you have wallhacks. demo0003.dm_1 demo0004.dm_1 Link to comment
obi-wan
This is the IRREFUTABLE trace shot behind a wall that I'm talking about - on demo0003 near the end of the demo. Link to comment
Gryphus_1
Do you read? Like your videos, the only thing we're banning off of this is an aimbot. ""Don't quote my quotes!" - Fruits" - Rattle Link to comment

SgtHunter
As the mods have said and even made a sticky, you should just record a simple spectate demo of the offender. i wouldn't even submit a demo of your gameplay, spectate the offender. you may not be presenting enough info if the short clip of a killcam that can show how someone tracked you with sounds or other queues. the audio from your perspective isn't helpful at all. another reason, your graphic settings are clearly not optimized, and so you may not see what someone else can see. mine are not perfectly optimized either but they are where i like them for my gameplay. in any case, a simple demo file allows a reviewer to replay the game with an optimized config, or any config they choose, that may explain something that the reporter isn't seeing. attached is an example from your video versus the actual demo file with my personal config. obi-wan
it just dawned on me that this is the exact loophole that lanto is exploiting - he hacks obviously but the moment you spectate hell tone it down enough to look plausible - the very reason i didnt spectate in those demos - the last kill in the first demo i submitted is more than enough proof of his wallhacking - you dont need any special program to see how obvious and blatant that trace was Link to comment
Cow
Sorry to say Obi-Wan, that last kill isn't as conclusive as you indicate. A lot of players will fire into know spawn locations listening for hit markers. If you had a player spawn around you without UAV jamming, and UAV was active, a nice big dot would indicate somebody spawning and a good player will spin to hit that spawn just like he did. Not saying he isn't walling, just saying this isn't enough evidence. I will definitely keep an eye on the player, enough folks have complained about them. As Hunter and others have said, a recording of the player is best. Your demos of your own play aren't enough to help this time. When you see him in game, join and just sit in spec. Don't talk, just spectate. Record each match. Eventually, with enough of that, he will expose himself if he is walling. With that recording, we can take action. This is what the admins do, and this is what we ask players to do if they are reporting somebody. It isn't fun to sit in spectate numerous games watching other players, but this is what we do to build a case and ban somebody. I appreciate your efforts and I will keep an eye out for this player if he pops on during my regular time on the server. Moo Link to comment
obi-wan
cow... i am the only one who spawned in that area and he went right for it, that is in fact full indisputable evidence of wallhacks, this is literally the most open proof did you notice in the demos i uploaded i said in server teamchat multiple times that i have uav jammer, dead silence, constantly walking with sights on so i make NO sound at all + i dont throw any nades so i dont show up on uav radar + when im not standing im crouching which also doesnt make me make any sound - he is wallhacking clear as day how obvious evidence do you need to get someone whos so very much obviously cheating Edited August 17 by obi-wan Link to comment
obi-wan
also, you want more proof arguing about consistency? spawn points sure, how many times in the demo do you see lanto shooting through that wall? answer is zero, only time he shot through it is when i spawned in because he saw me with his wallhacks, you could argue that he got me because it was a common spawn point but hes never done that other than that one convenient time throughout the whole match Link to comment
Cow
Of course, having said that, your second demo is much more interesting. Had it been of them playing instead of just you with kill cams, I would probably say it was conclusive. Link to comment
Cow
Well, considering I don't have a recording of his regular game play, I can't say that I have or haven't seen him shooting walls during the rest of the game. So, no, that isn't proof to me. As I just said tho, second recording is a little more damning. Link to comment
obi-wan
are you literally dismissing this as not proof of wallhacks? send this to any promod player and theyll easily tell you hes hacking, let them watch him for a match and theyll easily know hes hacking based on how he plays alone Link to comment
Cow
I am not going to engage on a back and forth with you Obi-Wan. I appreciate your mea culpa post in the general forum, but you are still being a bit agro about all this. We are mostly volunteers, trying to help keep the server clear of asshats that come in with cheats, on a server that some people are paying to help keep alive. It looks like Lanto tends to play during times I am personally not in game. If you spend some time as I suggested earlier, come in game with a different name, don't engage in chat and make a recording or two of his play that look suspicious, that will go a long way towards getting a ban in place. Remember, don't feed the trolls. Players like this get a thrill of pissing people off and you are feeding him with your anger. Link to comment
SgtHunter
I don't mean to just back and forth Obi-wan, I can totally understand your frustration being on the receiving end. But I watched that whole demo, I pulled a screenshot at the suspected moment and to me, while it was a bit off, I could also see myself doing that same thing. He is running a kit with bandolier, stopping power and deep impact. I have a kit just like that with m4. That's the exact kit I randomly spray spawns and walls with. He also didn't seem to fire at you the second time you respawned in almost the same spot. Maybe it's evidence, maybe it's not, but because one could make certain excuses for it, I think it's best to just lookout for another instance that checks all the boxes. Happy Hunting Link to comment
LuNaR
7 hours ago, obi-wan said: are you literally dismissing this as not proof of wallhacks? Yes. For one, it's killcam. For two... It would have been very easy for any well-seasoned, decent player to anticipate that you would have spawned exactly where you did and it all comes down to spawn logic. Sounds like you'd be surprised to find that spawn logic is not random in TDM. Have you ever played a 1v1 or 2v2 and noticed that other players fairly consistently spawn in one or two spots on the smaller maps, depending on your positioning? In brief, here's how spawn logic works. It's surprisingly simple. Weight all available spawn points based on proximity to your team and distance from the enemy team. Close to your team is good, far from the enemy team is good. More nearby teammates is better, more nearby enemies is worse. After weighting the spawn points, pick the best one. There are some additional checks that happen that increase variance a bit, but most of the time that's all it is. 1v1, this means you'll mostly spawn across the map from the other player. 2v2, you'll mostly spawn next to your teammate, or as far from all of enemy team as the game can get you. If your teammate is dead, it'll spawn you as far from the enemy as possible. 1v2, you'll mostly spawn in the furthest point from all of the enemy team. 2v1, you'll spawn close to your teammate, unless they are too close to the enemy or dead. Your YouTube video doesn't show this, but your "indisputable evidence" is a 1v2 scenario. You vs 2. (Thankfully you provided a demo so we could see this very important detail.) That means the game will most likely spawn you in the furthest spawn point from the enemy team. This is the furthest spawn point collectively from every player on the other team. A well-seasoned player could have easily opened the menu (Escape) and looked at that map to see where his teammate was (or known from seeing them moments before, but we don't know this because it's only a killcam). Then, based on knowing where spawn points are, very easily make an educated guess that you'd have spawned exactly where you did because it was the furthest spawn point from themself and their teammate. Gryphus_1
Obi-wan, you've had several level headed, rational explanations here. But, I estimate your reading comprehension to be barely middle school. So I found another crayon, and I'll spell this out real simple for you. 1) It's Bog. A terrible map that makes about as much sense to try and find wallhacks on as Shipment. 2) Your “proof” is from your perspective. Wtf. 3) Killcams bear a passing resemblance to what happened. Nothing more. 4) Demo files provide more benefits than I'm willing to rattle off. SgtHunter gave you an example. Ask any Promod player and they'll easily tell you. 5) Wallbanging isn't wallhacking. 6) Every time you spawn you appear on UAV. With or without jammer. The points I just made are facts - as you're so fond of saying, irrefutable. If you so much as give me the impression you’re arguing with any of them, I’ll ban you from the forum. Are we clear? “Here's your demo. I'm not spectating him, but please just fucking ban him.” -obi-wan ""Don't quote my quotes!" - Fruits" - Rattle Link to comment

obi-wan
@Gryphus_1i just tested it out, no, number 6 is not true - several times ive had uav and killed people, it was 2v2 so it was very very easy to test it out - nope, they did not show up when they spawned in, maybe it only works from time to time? not even arguing with you here just stating my results and observations - not even giving attitude Link to comment
MurphyThePoet
Ive just been playing this suspect player the last couple of nights in here Australia. He is playing at unusual times when no admins are present. So he is being allowed to continue this unethical behaviour. I can tell you the other problem; he is impersonating players to hide. Yesterday night (australian time) he came on As Enki, a regular normal player. Enki was playing and realised he was being impersonated and complained. Tonight he just came on now with Hyperions exact name. He spoke to me to say hi and then started hacking. Hyper never talks to me. It was not Hyper. This player is impersonating other players to hide his actions. And @obi-wanis correct. When we spectate him he immediately stops playing and just sits and waits, he will wait out the whole game if necessary. This is how he is getting around us capturing footage. Can you please try to track this player by IP or something. I can give times he was online and who he was playing as. It was first Lanto, then he changed to Enki, tonight he came on as Hyperion. This player is actively using the weaknesses in monitoring to escape prosecution. Its disgusting. He is playing during Australian evening times not American. Can we please try to do something about this??? @Gryphus_1@Cow Link to comment
obi-wan
im going to go ahead and say this despite having resevations because it seems nothing matters about what i say regarding this guy: he was being so fucking obvious yesterday - joined in the game as enki, i immediately knew it was him because of the 250 ping - he traced the holy fuck out of me with his mg i watch the killcam and smile because of how stupidly obvious hes being, then i go to spectate and record as per your suggestion. what does he do? go in a corner, go prone, do absolutely nothing. i hop in game again and he immediately starts to move. i go back to spectate and he stops. there is no catching this guy by spectating and recording. SgtHunter
Obi-wan, Next time join the game, join a team but don't pick a class yet. Instead hit escape key to close the menu and mouse click to select the person to view. You can still spectate without showing up on the list under spectators. Link to comment
