Gryphus_1
So, I literally just get done proofing my message to Razer tech support, about how my mouse stopped registering anything on the Y axis. Before it's suggested to me that I should try blowing out the optics... And then all is well... The point of this post is to say, if you have any trouble with your mouse not registering your movement, or tracking poorly. Try cleaning off the laser/optical lens or port. In this case, my problem was dust (while writing this I had the same problem, again solved by blowing out my optic port) and not caked on dust, I'm talking what is most likely a countable number of particles. This may be no revelation to you guys, but I thought I had seen the last of the meticulous mouse cleaning days when I got rid of my last "ball" mouse. But apparently optical mice are especially sensitive when it comes to any obstruction of the view port. This has been a public service announcement.
