Sup all. I am planning on purchasing a new gaming headset. My current one is breaking and I want a new one. Could anyone give me a few suggestions on some good headsets you use or prefer?

Pretty much anything Razer. I've owned a Megaladon and absolutely loved it. I will be purchasing a Tiamat 7.1 once they finally come back in stock.

you can get turtle beach headphones that are made for your ps3 and all of them are compatible with PC also

With Razer it's really one or the other. However the Xbox headset they make may be compatible with the PC/PS3. But don't take my word on that.

If your looking for a PC/PS3 set, personally I would go for Turtle Beach.

I use a turtle beach X11, and they are pretty damned close to the expensive $100+ headsets.

They don't produce them anymore, so try amazon or something, you wont find them in stores.

Heh. You don't need a good headset to do well really...I use cheap Skullcandy earbuds and I do just fine.

Well I ended up purchasing a pair of Razer Megalodon Headphones. I bought them on Amazon.com and they were on sale for $85.00. I am happy with my purchase and everything about it is High quality. The only thing that is a bit of a hassle is the white noise in the background of the mic. It is fairly noticeable but tweaking the sound input through the onboard sound card it is easily fixable.
