Wrangler
I'm a Senior Administrator of the FOW gaming community. We're looking into a swearing filter for one of our boxes. We tried one but its really slow (slower than I can warn and kick). I know that NETJAM has one on its server and that it seems to work very quickly and well. I was hoping that I could get a link to where we can download and try the plugin you use. Appreciated Wrangler Link to comment
SqshyYoshi
As far as I know it's part of B3.. But I'll let a NJA speak on that. Link to comment
Wrangler
I should have added we run COD 4 servers. Not sure what B3 is Link to comment
[RE]echo
B3 is big brother bot. It's an in-game administration tool that is available for I think a number of online games, but including COD4. just your friendly neighborhood Net-Jam C4 champion ;-]xfire:mleecho Link to comment
[RE]echo
Oh yeah, it's also Niacin, one of the 8 B vitamins, and in addition to helping the body convert food to fuel, it has a role in producing varying sex and stress related hormones. Wrangler
lol thanks, Mint filled me in last night, in game. We'll check it out, hopefully it allows for a remote intall (all our servers are remote). Thanks again. Link to comment
Steve-O
B3 is not a straight forward install as such. You'll have to do some research and also run a database.... Link to comment
Foo
www.bigbrotherbot.com. The application comes with a plugin called censor that performs what you are referring to. Link to comment
Wrangler
Thanks, I passed the info to the powers that be and they are evaluating the software. We're migrating our 6 servers to a new host tomorrow. I imagine that one or more of them will have B3 installed. I do appreciate the tech assist..thanks all. Link to comment
