What’s going to change with my Mumble server after the authenticator is disabled?

Most users will not notice any changes, but in some cases the following may happen:

Users who join your Mumble server by clicking ‘Join server’ on the Mumble module
Users will still be logged in with their username, but they will need to set their avatar again inside the Mumble client. Users will NOT lose their original access settings.

Users who registered via the Mumble client directly

Nothing changes and everything remains the same.

Users who login with their Enjin username or email address IN the Mumble client
These users will receive a password is incorrect message. This is very easy to fix. Just direct your users to click the Mumble icon in the top left corner of your website or the ‘Join server’ link in the Mumble module on your pages after they login to your website.

Users who receive a password error (very rare case)

Should click the Mumble icon in the top left corner of your website or the ‘Join server’ link in the Mumble module after they login to your website or alternatively they can change their username in the Mumble client in the Connect window. If they still receive a password error, have them create a new certificate in the Configure > Certificate Wizard > create new certificate.

PLEASE NOTE: In all cases, If any user is having issues logging into your Mumble server, direct them to click the Mumble icon in the top left corner of your website or the ‘Join server’ link in the Mumble module after they login to your website.
