  1. The server is stuck on Killhouse with the "end game" screen. It needs a kick in the butt.
  2. It's 10:55 MDST and the server seems to be down. Anyone have any ideas?
  3. I started using this config when Quake 2 first came out many eons ago. Left mouse Fire Right mouse Move forward Mouse button 4 Switch weapon Space bar Knife W lean left E lean right R Reload T Grenade A Jump S Strafe Left D Move back F Strafe Right G Flash Z Crouch X Toggle Zoom V Use B Teamspeak CTRL Prone 6 UAV/Air Strike/Helo
  4. Awesome Hint! I guess Boards and I will have to say sorry every time we kill someone.
  5. Great idea giving a plug to the server!
  6. I'm surprised that so many people play on laptops. So many good players. Makes me feel inadequate.
  7. Looks like Counterstrike 1.3. And for that Gryph, I salute you.
  8. Just a shout out to all NJ members this day before Christmas Eve. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and manages to take a bit of time to reflect on the past year. Goals achieved, resolutions broken, friendships formed. I haven't achieved much this year and I've broken nearly every resolution, but I've made some great friendships on this server. I'm looking forward to 2014 and whatever Gryph and Ruthless have in store for the website. I won't be on the server much over the holidays. I'll be out, camera in tow, looking for the Abominable Snowman. Giz
  9. -16 by Monday. Trust me, it'a a break from what it's been all this week.
  10. Snotcycles hanging from your nose. And your eyelids freeze shut if it's really windy. Not really, but almost. And yes it is that cold. I like the punch idea. Throw in some vodka afterwards. I had all these ideas of things I wanted to shoot, but the weather is warming up over the next week.
  11. And now for something completely different. Here's a few shots I took of one of my employees throwing hot water into the frigid arctic air. https://vimeo.com/82438318
  12. This is a brand new display though with no input lag and no motion blur. It's the first LCD display to give CRT performance. My LCD monitor has been sitting in a closet since I bought it three years ago.
  13. Input lag...that's what she said.
  14. Have you used one pwn? If so , how is the input lag?
  15. Thanks guys. I'm too lazy to upload the signature picture. As for the monitor, I'm going to order it on Monday. I'll let you know how well it works. I really hate LCD displays of any kind so this is a real leap of faith.
  16. And if anyone can suggest how to get my picture to work when I make a post, i'd appreciate it.
  17. Is anyone using the Asus VG248QE monitor for COD? I'm still using a CRT because of zero input lag and no motion blur, but would like to retire it. Looking to see what everyone else is using. Cheers.
  18. Just heard this song for the first time. Gonna be stuck in my head for days. I think John Wayne would approve.
  19. I have yet another question for your amusement In CS, a player could customize a "spray" and use it in game. Is this available in COD4? Funny that I played CS for 7 years before COD4 and completely forgot about this. Not a big deal. Just wondered if it's possible.
  20. i7 950 @ 3.4G. I've had it for almost 3 years. I'm looking for a way to cut down rendering times in Sony Vegas Pro. The Quadro K5000 is an $1800 card. Heck, I could build a system for half that and use it just to render video. Just now thought of that.
  21. Thanks guys. I think i'll just invest in a faster CPU. After some research, it looks like not all applications really benefit from a Quadro.
  22. Hey people. I'm wondering if anyone here is using a Quadro card from nVidia. I need a workstation grade graphics card for video editing, and need to ditch my pair of GT-460's. I'm just worried about game performance. Let's just call this a first-world problem. Thanks.
  23. If you just want to zoom in on your footage, at the end of each clip on the timeline, you'll see the "crop" tool. Click on it to bring up the crop window. From here you can zoom in or out of your clip. Bare in mind this will degrade the quality.
